Thanks! Unfortunately it's just a sprite sheet that you need to set up for yourself, that way everyone can set it up in any program that they want to use.
Hi, this is some awesome art. I can not understand how there seem to be so little horse sprites on the internet.
Am I allowed to put this next to my game code on a public github repository (giving proper credit and a link to this page of course)? Or would you consider that redistribution?
Yes. that is what I thought. Thanks for the quick reply. I will provide some dummy sprite sheet in the repository and will only use this asset pack for packaging the final game.
Thank you thank you thank you! I am no animator, and I'm barely an artist, so when I decided our game would have the Headless Horseman as a final boss I quickly realized I was in big trouble. This asset pack saved me!
The animations look great and it was so handy having a variety of colors and options to choose from. Also thanks for being so thorough with the different animations. We use this sprite during narrative portions of our game, so it was really helpful to have access to running, walking, and rearing animations. (Elsewhere I attempted to modify a running wolf sprite to make it walk instead and the results were not great!)
Thanks for making our game possible! It's a Vampire Survivors-like called Deadly Harvest.
I have one suggestion. The horse looks a bit different to other pixel art in the game. So why not edit the horse sprite to look the same? I give a full right to do so :)
Thanks for the feedback! Yes I agree, I think I probably need to change the shading so it doesn't have a strong outline. If we have time to make future updates to the game, I'll make this change =)
Hi, I wanted to ask if it's also possible to use it for Twitch? And am I allowed to customize it as I like (or are your animations fixed gifs and not single pictures?) and maybe use the style for another animations as I plan to do a Streampet with custom commands to trigger it? :) I tried to do something by myself by horseclips but it's so hard and it would make my life a lot easier if I could use your animation frames as a guide for my own horse animations.

Yeah, sorry for the late reply. You can use it for your own animations if you mention somewhere on twitch that the base of the horse is made by me. Thank you for the support :3
Hey, could you add in the feuter a diagonal walk/run? (maybe as a second upgrade/pack), I'm sure there is more dev the use 8 directions. no rush or anything, whatever is working out with your other plans.
If there's a better animated 2D Horse pack, it's tucked away in the darkest of webs where I'm afraid to go. I just bought the Full Pack (buy the Full Pack; the quality is far beyond other 2D animated horse assets in other popular asset stores) and I'm excited to get back to my project since my own attempts did not turn out well. They're bad. I am thinking about uploading them to view just to point people to this asset.
Another idea, could you add a horse flying sprite sheet with wings, both type on the ground and flying in the air (with legs banding when they fly)? (you can add it as extra pack if you want). thank you for such a great horse pack.
I would be most interested in something like that :) I've looked hi and low for a animated pixel horse and nothing I've come across is as good looking or what I'm interested in. I've bought the horse only pack almost a year ago and it's still the greatest out there. Keep up the amazing work <3

You mean the sprite sheets or like gifs? Gifs are fine but the sheets are not since anyone can then just download them free from there.

Although you can use this one that I have on the store page. It's distorted so it's unusable as a sprite sheet.
